Where everything comes from.
Hashidari's 7,879 words, 2,136 kanji and 208 radicals are built from open, licensed datasets. Nothing is copied from another course: there are no borrowed mnemonics, no invented radical names, and no scraped lesson content. Share-alike data stays share-alike: the Japanese and Korean source data below keeps the license it came with, and so do our changes to it.

Checked against, not copied. When reviewing Korean-bridge pairs, our reviewers checked meanings and usage in Korean and English Wiktionary, Korean Wikipedia, and the National Institute of Korean Language's dictionaries, including the Standard Korean Dictionary (표준국어대사전) and Urimalsaem (우리말샘) (CC BY-SA 2.0 KR · National Institute of Korean Language), which our tools also ask whether a Korean word is recorded with the same hanja. Facts were confirmed there; no definitions or examples from those sources are reproduced.
Lesson order, the Korean cognate pairs, and the review schedule are Hashidari's own. Every cognate pair was reviewed by a person before it shipped. If you spot a mistake or an attribution we've got wrong, tell us from Account → Send feedback in the app.
Fonts. Noto Sans JP, Noto Sans KR and Outfit, under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.
